About these terms

Giftio is run by FractalX Technologies FZ-LLC. By creating an account, or by using a link someone shared with you, you accept these terms.

Who can use Giftio

You must be 13 or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. One account per person and email address. You need an email address that can receive our sign-in codes.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, with Google or with a code we email you. Keep your email account safe: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time (see the privacy policy).

Your content

What you add to Giftio stays yours: wishes, photos, notes and events. You allow us to store it, make thumbnails of photos, and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Giftio. Product details and photos fetched from a shop link belong to that shop.

Sharing and the surprise

Your wishlist is private until you share it. Anyone with your link can see your shared wishes; you can reset the link or turn sharing off at any time.

Giftio never shows you who is getting which of your wishes: not in your account, on your links, through the app's servers, in live updates or in notifications. This promise covers your own account. It can't cover someone who deliberately makes a second account to look.

Gifts and shops

Giftio doesn't sell anything. "View in store" opens the shop's own website, and anything you buy there is between you and the shop: prices, stock and delivery are theirs, and a price in Giftio may be out of date. When you go in on a group gift, the money changes hands outside Giftio, between the people involved.

Ads and sponsors

The app shows ads and sponsored content, always labelled "Ad" or "Sponsored". They never appear while you sign in, while you give a gift, or on this website, and your wishes, events and gifts are never used to target them.

Rules for everyone

Don't use Giftio to:

• post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual or violent, or anything that harasses someone;
• pretend to be someone else;
• send people invitations they don't want;
• copy Giftio's content in bulk, or get around its limits or its security;
• find out what someone is getting you.

You can report a profile, a wish or an event, and block anyone.

Ending your account

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we keep a record of why.

Giftio as it is

We work to keep Giftio running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and its features may change. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top.
